Hawaii's Own has its heritage deeply rooted in the island way of life; island fruits, blended together for a smooth tastydrink that refreshes any time of day. From the beginning, Hawaii's Own has appealed to kids and their parents - in the morning, with meals, after school, or at weekend picnics.
Hawaii's Own frozen concentrate was introduced on the mainland U.S. in 1989 and quickly became a major factor in the blend/drink category on the West Coast. Hawaii's Own frozen concentrate is now marketed in 20 western states via retail supermarkets, 190 military commissaries in the Unites States & 20 in Europe, in addition to club stores in Guam & American Samoa. Hawaii's Own enjoys excellent distribution in grocery chains on the West Coast with many customers stocking all 9 delicious flavors.
The 9 Hawaii's Own flavors now hold a 10-35% share of the blend/drink category on the West Coast. Hawaii's Own operating as Hawaiian Juice Industries was purchased by the C. Brewer & Co. Ltd in 1996 and now operates as Hawaii's Own Corporation. C. Brewer was founded in 1826 making it one of the oldest American companies west of the Rocky Mountains.
During its 30 years, Hawaii's
Own has added nutritious new
flavors and taste treats. But the base has always been of exotic
island fruits- either guava or passion fruit.
