Tropical Ice Tea

A pitcher of iced tea filled with large ice cubes sits next to a full glass of iced tea, with pink hibiscus flowers in the background.

Yields: 1 half-gallon Pitcher

Ingredients

  • Cold water (enough to fill a half-gallon pitcher)

  • 8-10 plain black tea bags (tags removed)

  • 1 (12 oz.) can of Hawaii’s Own frozen concentrate (your favorite flavor)

Directions

1. Fill a half-gallon pitcher near the top with cold water.

2. Add 8-10 plain black tea bags to the pitcher, making sure to remove the tags beforehand.

3. Let the pitcher sit for a few hours to allow the tea to steep. For the best flavor, let it sit overnight.

4. After the steeping period, remove the tea bags from the pitcher.

5. Add one 12 oz. can of your favorite Hawaii’s Own frozen concentrate to the pitcher.

6. Mix the contents thoroughly until the concentrate is fully dissolved and chill the mixture in the refrigerator.

7. Serve the refreshing iced tea over ice and enjoy!
